NFL Legends Tackle Childhood Obesity In Princeton - Len Saunders

From a CBS affiliate?..

Legends of the NFL were in Princeton for the Gridiron Legacy Football School on Saturday.

The training school at Hunnicut Stadium is part of a one-day camp to teach kids everything from how to make a touch-down to tackling.

The program is led by Redskin Hall of Fame players Gary Hart, John Booty, and Roy Simmons.

?Do something active, at least 30 minutes to an hour everyday, be a kid,? advises Booty.

He hopes kids take away from the camp a lasting love for the sport, but also an interest in activities away from the X-box, DVD player, and computer.

?We hope that kids take away some football skills. These kids are young, so we don?t know what they?re going to retain. But they should be able to retain at least something,? added Booty.
